Now that you have your wikispaces account, how do you join an existing wiki? Again, quite easy. At the top right of the wiki page, you will see a link that says "Join This Space". Click on the link and you will be prompted to leave a comment for the wiki organizer as to why you wish to have membership in the wiki. It is a good idea to state who you are and why you are asking for membership so you will not be denied, especially if your chosen username is unfamiliar to the wiki organizer. They will receive an email and/or when they log in there will be a message that indicates someone has asked for membership.
Be sure you have verified your email address with wikispaces (they will send you one after you register) so you will be notified when your request for joining a wiki has been approved.

2. At the bottom, under "Space Promotion" click on Invite people.
3. Follow the directions and edit the message wikispaces has automated for you in order to invite people to your wiki. Since you are inviting them, you will not need to approve their membership.
